How do I join PollenTree?

You will receive a confirmation email, click on the link in the email to activate your account.


How to I edit my profile?
Log into your account and go to My PollenTree / Edit Profile.
We have made editing your profile as simply as possible and the privacy settings easy to use.


How to I leave PollenTree?
You can close your PollenTree account at any time.

Our automated system will take care of the rest.
Your account will be removed within 48 hours. 

You can re-join at any time.


What is the difference between my account and a subscription?
Your profile is free, you can update it as often as you like and keep it for as long as you like. A subscription upgrades your account and allows you to message other members.


What do I get when I subscribe?

When you subscribe you can send direct messages to other members. If the other member is also a subscriber they can read unlimited messages from you and other subscribers. If the other member is not a current subscriber they can read the first two messages from you before being asked to subscribe to read any more from you.


Why subscribe?
Subscribers are more active on PollenTree and are more committed and serious. This means less timewasting and a better chance of finding other suitable members. Because members have to subscribe to send messages you only hear from genuine members.


Are payments secure?

Yes, we use PayPal for all payments, so you can pay securely with your PayPal account or securely using your credit or debit card.


Does PollenTree store my card details?

No, we do not store your card details - we never see them - all payments are handled via PayPal's secure payment system. Nor do we see or store any address details associated with any card details.


When I view some profile pages I just get a blank page
You will see a blank page if a member is no longer on PollenTree. This can be because a member has left or we have removed a member.


Do you remove members?
Yes, we take a hands-on approach to the website. We remove members if they breach our Terms & Conditions and/or our Code of Conduct. We want PollenTree to be a safe and respectful place to meet other people. We do a lot in the background to moderate PollenTree and keep it working smoothly for you.


What about spam?
We (like you) don't like spam. If we find any spammers on the site we remove them. We also put a notice page up in place of their profile page to tell other members why they have been removed. Normally spammers are just looking for email addresses to spam.
