I’m Sri Lankan/Italian. I live in a forest one mile from the beach in Humboldt County on my own land. I’ve been nesting for the last two years and building/remodeling two houses. I’ve been thinking about being a single mother by choice for a couple years now. I’m going to be ready to begin trying at the end of summer, when both houses are finished.

I like the idea of a non-anonymous sperm donor, but I don’t like the idea of my child having 30-50 brothers and sisters, which brings me here. I plan on traveling the world with my kid and having them grow up immersed in different cultures and learning different languages. I have family all over the world as well as artisan factories that I work with. I’m an accessories designer and have been running my own business for 10 years.

I’m looking for a donor who is mixed race, preferably curly haired, and with some creativity in their veins. I would like for my child to know this person and have some sort of relationship, but I don’t want to share custody either. I think my ideal donor would like to see the child once or twice a year for a long visit and do some phone calls and letters in between.
