I am a 39 year old woman who would like to find a male counterpart who is interested in a co-parenting arrangement and workable friendship. I spend my time between Footscray and Castlemaine. ideally, we'd be neighbours or live close to each other. I have not found a romantic partner with whom having a child was an option, so I have decided I would rather develop a platonic friendship with someone of similar values and ethics, in a close geographical location, who wants to share 50/50 custody (if possible) or to negotiate this.. Politically I am on the left side of things and I hope you will be too, or we probably are not going to get along in child rearing and schooling issues. I am interested in issues like sustainability and environment,social justice and gender equality. I love rock and roll. I love to travel, and would plan to do so as a mother, with kid in tow. You would hopefully support this and even join the odd trip or two. I don't plan to be a suburban mum chained to the sink and watching TV all day.Having said that, I do value stability and education. I own my own home.(at least, the bank does). I am interested in Buddhist practices but dont subscribe to any doctrine or dogma wholesale. I feel regularly the quandary of wanting to have a child but questioning what kind of world i would bring a child into. I value community., though i can be a loner sometimes. (only child). My heritage is Irish and I would like to foster a connection to Irish culture, and whatever culture you may be from, in my child.
