Yes, I am older than most dads - ok, let’s move on (continue reading and I’ll explain).

I am a healthy, happy, intelligent, emotionally adjusted, responsible man with a keen sense of humor and a love for life. I am here looking for a like-minded, loving, honest, and caring woman to co-parent and raise a beautiful, happy, smart, healthy child with. I come from a large loving family. I have a professional degree and run my own creative business here in DC. I look forward to being involved in the child’s life but I am open to the level of involvement that would best fit a potential partner’s ideas. I believe the biggest priority is finding someone who is looking to be a devoted caring and dedicated mother to the child. I could be flexible to other factors but definitely prefer to find someone who lives local or who would be willing to relocate to DC.

I am already a dad of an amazing 4-year old son. I have loved fatherhood so much that I really want another child, and I would love for my son to have a sibling (ok, half sibling in this case) to grow up with. I am open-minded and I feel that children are here to remind us of what is truly important in life. I have found that to be a good parent you need to be flexible, and open, but I believe some of the most important values in parenting are:

1. unselfishness
2. unconditional love to the child
3. being firm to instill good values and judgement, but being flexible on non-essential issues
4. love of art, music, nature, and learning
5. raising a child to understand that self-respect, non-judgement of others, and forgiveness are the most important. And beyond that not to sweat the small stuff. Tomorrow is always a new day.

I’m not looking for a romantic relationship. I am hoping to find a woman who has not found a romantic partner to start a family with, who still dreams of having children, but still would hope to have a loving and supportive father for the child.
