I am a single ace woman interested in co-parenting ideally with another LGBTQ person or couple around my own age living nearby.

I've always wanted kids, but having seen several of my friends go through the early years as single mothers, I have decided I'd rather not go it alone. So I've decided that my best path forward is to have a child with a built-in support network of loving parents.

I am employed full time, working from home for a tech company. I have a PhD and I own a house. I earn a good but not exorbitant salary (between 50-100k). In my free time, I sing and play several instruments, I to draw, and I spend a lot of time outside learning about nature. I have a very spoiled cat and my whole immediate family is local.

Not sure I'm 100% ready to pull the trigger and become a parent, but I am interested in getting the ball rolling in that direction within the next few years.
