Searching for a coparent/parents, hopefully in my area. Open to co-parenting with a couple. I was told if wanted kids, I need to try now. I was going to try a few years ago but work took a turn.
I’m a social worker, so liberal as you can imagine. Looking for someone that feels like they were just born to be a dad (or parents or dads or moms) and has friends that can back this up! Like our friends will video chat interview about it 😂
My health is pretty good but my job has kept me a little sedentary since 2020 but I love hiking and getting out. I had surgery recently, another reason I'm ready to get out and moving. and they were like, hey that's endometriosis, imagine that! (I totally called it). And basically I was told if I want kids, try now. Well I was dating someone and he was basically too anxious to be a dad, was a pretty good uncle though, but after a long distance road trip... Yeah, he's not a boyfriend anyone either 😂. (He's a good guy but just not reliable enough in a crisis). But I kind of feel like that opens up this option for me of looking for a coparent. I had kind of given up because that relationship was heading towards marriage.
I'm originally from Michigan and I have a graduate degree. I own a modest home in a great neighborhood. I make pretty good money and have a flexible schedule. I love to travel and craft and diy (probably too much but I'm handy.... Mostly).
I have pets, I consider myself a dog person but I have more cats and they're awesome.
Also, I have ADHD. I use a lot of calendars and reminders. So co-parenting candidates need to speak Google calendar 😂 and have a healthy sense of humor.
