I’ve always pictured my life with children but life didn’t turn out that way. I’ve sort of convinced myself I’m ok with that but have to admit I think about it often. I’m divorced (7yrs now) and my ex-wife was unable. (I was checked also and am fine) I’m now in a wonderful relationship with someone I love very much. However she has two kids and wasn’t really interested in a third and now not much of an option anyway. It’s great being a step parent but not really the same.

In my fantasy world I’d get to 50/50 co-parent, we and all our loved ones would get along, we would have similar parenting styles, live near each other…. Probably not super realistic but thought I’d at least explore the idea.
