When reading another donor’s profile he said that he felt he was gifting a soul. This struck a cord with me.

Based on this, before donating I would like to talk to the recipient. To get to know them and be sure we are both about what we are about to do.

I am the father of 8 children, all healthy and doing well. Then youngest is 1 year old. He does not live with me, but l look after him while his mother is at work.  This ties me to living in Aberdeen. 

It also means it would be difficult for me to fully co-parent another child. I would, however like to be involved and would like the child(ren) to know me as their dad. But perhaps the relationship as nearer to an 'uncle'.

I am a European with a Scottish mum and German dad. So any children could have both British and German citizenship. I might also offer some financial support.

I am 6ft, have degrees in Maths and Economics(Masters).
I love wild swimming and dancing (does this come from the genes?)
I am happy to take STI tests.
