Everyone is experiencing COVID a little differently, but for my wife and I, the beginning of the pandemic coincided with our son’s birth. What also made it special was a third, essential person who made our son possible: our known donor not only has been a weekly presence in our son's life as his Dad, but has been a friend to all of us for the last few years!

We love being moms and flourishing in our individual careers; we also have our sights on having another baby as a sibling for our boy. We have no expectations of carbon copying our current set-up and a variety of options are on the table including donor and adoption routes. A full co-parenting partnership is complicated and not a path we wish to explore, but a presence in the child’s life-complete with complexity!-is open for discussion. Ultimately, we are looking to connect with someone and see if there’s a fit, a meeting of values, or an energy longing to be born.
