My wish is, of course, to be able to have and raise a child; The love that I have in me, the care and the warmth, to share and guide a child and see him grow to adulthood, where happiness and being oneself are paramount.

Of course, I would rather do that together with the man I have had a stable relationship with for years, but unfortunately I have yet to meet that man. That does not stop me from trying to fulfill my wish in this way, which is unique and special to me.

I would like the child to be able to meet his father and not only from a certain age. My ideal would be a "donor plus" that undoubtedly plays a role in his life, but for me that role would not go so far as to share authority and educate together. I am also open to a donor who sees no more role for himself in interaction and participation in education, but agrees to seek contact with the child at a later age.

The reason I wouldn't go so fast to share authority and a 50/50 education is for me that I feel like I can't take on such a responsibility and commitment for life or supervise a stranger beforehand with whom there hasn't been a long friendship or other relationship. It seems to me very likely that the child may be trapped in it.
