I'm a born and raised Floridian who moved to Long Island in 2009. I own and maintain a home, have a career, and enjoy hobbies including boating, equestrian, and hiking. I enjoy road trips and getting out but also look forward to rainy days so I can binge watch tv.

In 2017 my husband died 20 months after he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. He was 34. Since then my world has changed. Even after everything I've been through I consider myself exceptionally lucky.

I'm not into drama and my view and appreciation for life is vastly different then the average person. I've tried online dating and what I've come to realize is I need a partner more then I need a soulmate. Someone who can support me as a mother and not as a wife. Maybe one day I'll find the 'one' but time is not on my side and my wish for a family is greater than the want of companionship.
