Highly educated woman (PhD from a Big10) looking for a sperm donor or co-parent. Ideal candidate will also be college-educated. I am of mixed ethnic heritage - Irish and Native American. I am connected to my tribe and any children I might have will be raised with native culture, language, and values. I have a light complexion most of the year, but tan easily. My mother is Mi’kmaq and Irish and has more of a copper complexion with light brown hair and dark brown eyes. My biological father is Galician and Irish, and has black hair and blue eyes. Blue eyes, brown/green hazel eyes (like my own), and dark hair are dominant traits in my family.

I am not religious and have liberal political beliefs. Prospective co-parents would ideally have similar religious and political stances, or at least be highly respectful of mine.

I’m a fairly healthy person. I exercise 5-6 days a week and have been a vegetarian since the age of 14. I would not impose my diet on future children and am comfortable cooking meat for others. The only health conditions I have are poly-cystic ovarian syndrome and poor eyesight; however, I do carry the genes for age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and PXE. It is highly unlikely I would pass PXE on to my children because it is an exceptionally rare condition that requires both parents be gene carriers to achieve a 25% chance of inheritance.
