I always wanted a family of my own. Unfortunately, that goal eluded me. It's really too bad too, because I have fantastic genetics (and have the 23andMe analysis + life outcomes to prove it). It would be a shame if I weren't able to pass them on to a lucky offspring.
At my age I have no illusions about having a family of my own. I recall when I was 35, one of my partners saying, "Why are you in such a hurry to have kids? Guys can have kids at any age." Unfortunately, that's only technically correct. A man's fertility is directly related to his partner's fertility and there aren't a lot of 25-year-old women eager to have a family with a 50-year-old man.
So that's where I stand; I've always wanted a child and if this is the only way I can produce one, so be it. I'm sure the women on here have plenty of young, virile potential partners to choose from, so I won't hold my breath, but this is probably my last shot.
