My wife and I have shared the journey of the past five years together. While she contributes to the field of Childcare, I am employed at a local IT firm. As proud homeowners, we now find ourselves ready to embark on the next chapter of our lives by starting a family.
Despite facing an initial setback with an unsuccessful attempt at IUI in a fertility clinic, we remain optimistic. Our sights are set on saving for IVF, considering its higher success rate. Ideally, we aim to commence the process in early 2024. However, if the opportunity arises to connect with the right private donor before then, we are open to exploring this avenue. In the event that the insemination is unsuccessful, our plan is to proceed with IVF.
It's important to note that we are specifically considering Artificial Insemination and have ruled out Natural Insemination and other options. Prior to obtaining a sample from a potential donor, we value the importance of meeting them in person, perhaps over a cup of coffee, to ensure that the match is mutually comfortable and harmonious. We believe this personal connection is crucial for both us and the donor to move forward with this significant step in our lives.
