We are a beautiful blended family I had a girl and a boy with my ex wife of 15 years, through IVF, and we successfully co-parent - two happy open homes with great communication and stability. My partner carried a boy and a girl with her gay dear friend, and we also successfully co-parent. Unfortunately a big family isn’t for everyone and the boys were happy to stop with two children.

But for me, yes I do have 4 healthy happy children, but there’s an emptiness of never carrying myself. We are financially stable, we have a large beautiful home, and large family cars my partner is a school teacher and I have a full time job and a stable high income.

I’m all about being fair and while we have considered an anonymous donor, I can’t have our four oldest children go to their other homes and have one child stay here full time.
