I have decided to extend my family. I am getting older but am very health conscious and have decided I would love to have one more child, and a closer to their age sibling for my youngest. I have an adult child and a preschooler. My youngest’s child’s father passed away a year ago and I have no interest in another relationship. They are of Malaysian/Chinese descent and I would prefer a donor with a similar background, so they can band together against potential adversity in the future and have a similar background in common. But any background is absolutely great!! Time is ticking but I wanted to be sure my finances were comfortable before considering this.

I am hoping to find somebody who wishes to donate, but does not want to be in the child’s life, though I am absolutely open to contact when the child is old enough to understand the scenario.

I embrace many beliefs from different cultures. I have no set religion but I have strong ethics and a radically optimistic view of life. I raise my children to be respectful of all backgrounds and beliefs, so as long as no harm is being done.

I wasn’t happy with the sexuality options… I am absolutely queer and gender queer despite having heterosexual relationships with my children’s fathers. I am absolutely single for life - at least until my youngest is 18 - so this should not matter too much. I want my children to have stability and since most relationships fail, I’m not going to put my children through that.
