I am happily single and raising my 12 y/o nephew.
After divorcing 5 years ago I expected to remarry one day and have children. However, I'm still not ready to date or remarry. Not because of a fear of commitment so much as I haven't met anyone who sparked my interest. I am ready for children though, and soon. My nephew would be great with a young cousin to help with and love but the more years that separate them the less likely that they will have a strong bond.

I am a Jesus loving Christian woman. My children will be raised in the church but encouraged to think for themselves and do their own research on matters of faith and religion, as I believe that the Bible will stand against any scrutiny or test.

I have been a successful for nearly 18 years. I am considering a career change to allow me to work from home, though. I would like to homeschool my kids and working from home would allow that.

I have a tight knit family who have always been there for me. I believe family is one of the most important things in a person's life, and will raise my children to help and accept help from family. Helping and encouraging each other is what my family is all about.
