I’ve been on a journey of acceptance of who I am and what I have been through, which has allowed me to arrive at this moment. I truly believe that I am at a point in my life to start a new chapter as a mother. I have an identical twin sister and while our likeness extends to appearance and a lot of our personality, I am alone in the fact that I do not have kids of my own yet. I have helped raise my nephew since birth and am preparing to be just as present when my sister gives birth to twin boys in a couple of months, but I too want to experience the blessing of motherhood.

Healing, respecting, and taking responsibility for a lot of what shaped me into the adult I am, has been a journey that I purposefully began before taking steps to bringing a life into the world. I am open to finding a responsible, loving, and self aware partner/bonus parent/father to my child in the future, but that aspect just hasn’t worked out for me yet, so I feel called to start this journey solo.
