The universe and life are full of wonders which amaze me every day!

I'm working in the tech industry, doing a little bit teaching, too. I am a natural scientist and mathematician in training, and will be always in heart (if you know how to proof the Bianchi identities, I definitely want to talk to you). I grew up in a family where most are scientists and engineers. I like exploring, creating and exploring uncharted territories together with similar-minded people.

While my family is clearly not perfect, I have plenty of nice childhood memories, and it was always given for me that I will have children on my own some time. Unfortunately, for various reasons, this didn't work out yet. But you never know what the future brings. I'm interested in unorthodox people and think that colorful life journeys are interesting.

I'm German, living in Germany right now, and staying in the Bay area from time to time, having been there uncountable times and once lived there for about half a year during very tense but interesting times. For example, I loved participating a women march and of course a science march. And maybe I'll do it again, let's see! (Living in the US I mean, not only the women or science march.) All in all, I'm cosmopolitan, have been in various counties, but also proud of being European, and at the same time very fascinated by the USA, its culture and politics.

Being a parent would be a great new journey, challenge and joy. While you never know how exactly it will pan out, and it obviously includes also hard times, and I have seen from others inside and outside my family. But there's so much to show a child and to help with exploring and getting to know their world.

Coparenting with a mother or pair who ideally also would be a good friend, would be very interesting. I would like to be part of the life of our child (or children) as much as possible, but I'm flexible about the degree and details of my involvement.
