I'm ready to make raising child(ren) the focus of the second half of my life. I'd love to do this with a single romantic partner, but also totally happy to share this journey with a platonic partner that shares similar values & aspirations, who can evolve into a close friend and co-parent.

I am at a stage in my life that I can live (comfortably - not extravagantly) without working full time, so I am happy to share or shoulder the role of stay-at-home parent.

I am also somewhat flexible geographically, though I believe my home in Vancouver to be a wonderful place to raise kids.

I have a strong belief in social & environmental justice (and value those who dedicate their lives to service (Helath, Education, Research/Knowledge, Community)

I treat everyone in my life with understanding and respect, so even worst case scenarios are generally just a mutual parting of ways on good terms that enable close bonds to be maintained despite fundamental change.

In the genetic lottery I consider myself lucky on most counts.

Pros:

- naturally adventurous but responsible;
- a top student in not just Mat & Science, but also English Lit & History;
- a fairly competitive athlete in a few different sports ranging from varsity to provincial to national/international level; - - - robust in health and rarely sick;
- both of my parents are 89 years old and physically & mentally fit.)

Cons (by others' standards - not my own) :

- I am not tall - just 5'7"
- I became really proactive in this search a decade later than I should have.. so I am older than the woman of child-bearing age that I seek to meet.

I remain torn about the online process. I miss the organic, multi-faceted characteristics that draw people together in the real world, but appreciate the opportunity to meet someone like-minded that I would otherwise never cross paths with.
