Myself and my partner are looking to try for a baby. We have been together since 2018 and have lived together for the majority of that time. We can’t have children naturally due to my own fertility issues, which has been really distressing for us both. Due to this we would like someone who was sensitive to our situation and who would respect our comfort boundaries.

What we would ideally like is for all communication to be run through myself as my partner does not wish to know anything about the donor, and only wishes to know the donors medical history and STI history but besides this I will be the sole communicator. Proof of recent STI check will be essential.

We are looking for a donor who is happy with no contact with the child, I am happy to inform the donor of the gender of the baby born and anything else I am happy to discuss if anyone has any specific requests.

My partner has blue eyes and brown hair, I have auburn hair and hazel eyes. We would preferably like someone who shares my features, or if not exactly, someone who has darker features brown hair/ brown eyes.

We are new to this whole process and I am considering this route after a friend of mine had a baby this way and it seemed really easy and rather straightforward.
