I’m a single woman and just haven’t found the right person. Romantic relationships are tough these days. But I would still like to have a family and would like to have the father/fathers involved as well (just none of the romantic messy stuff). I am financially independent and have the means to afford raising a child on my own, but it’s important to me that the child have strong family connections and tons of community support. I’ve donated my eggs in the past (a very competitive and thoroughly screened process) so I am already used to the idea of a non-traditional family.
