I've been exploring the option of co-parenting for a while as I have a strong desire to be a father. I have thought very seriously about it and it is not something I would enter into lightly, nor would I expect someone else to.

I am someone who is not easily boxed-in into traditional life paths out of social pressure and have felt that a traditional family unit is not something that would suit me particularly well. But this doesn't stop me from wanting to contribute towards raising a child and giving it the best possible start in life.

I am open to different co-parenting models involving more or less involvement. I feel this is something to be negotiated based on the differing needs and expectations that two people can have.

Health and fitness are very important to me and I keep myself in good condition through diet and exercise. I am financially secure and own my own home. I feel this is a good platform from which to build an (unconventional) family upon.

My career is important to me, as are my passions and hobbies. I play competitive squash at a high-level and also play in a band in my spare time!

I would like to meet someone serious about co-parenting who is in roughly a similar position to myself, who understands the potential challenges and commitment involved and is dedicated to sharing something special ultimately for the benefit of the child.

A romantic entanglement is not something I would be interested in as I feel this would unnecessarily complicate the potential relationship.
