Down to earth Yorkshire guy who tells it how it is. I have a dry sense of humour, and am a thoughtful, easy to be with soul who has manners and consideration for others, though doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

I like to keep in shape and watch what I eat and enjoy getting things done at a pace the Tasmanian devil would recognise. I love being active and took up horse riding in recent years and wonder why I didn’t try it years ago! I find much enjoyment in the simpler things such as days out visiting stately homes or a day out at the seaside, summer or winter! And drinking coffee…

Love London and Switzerland and would love to visit Hawaii and Japan at some point or wherever you fancy going. I’m open to new things, but struggle with new foods… a branch of the golden arches has come to the rescue more times than I’m happy to admit to but I’m working on it…

I try to be wise enough to know when to take life seriously and when not to, and what I can change and what I can’t. I have a cup’s half full attitude and believe the phrases ‘every cloud has a silver lining’ and ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ to be usually true.

Ideally if you were in a 30 mile radius it would be great but am open minded if you are further afield, c’est la vie!
