I'm a friendly, sharp engineer, and funny guy who wants to help someone have a biological child. Also interested in helping women who are having fertility issues due to age. I also speak German (Ich kann Deutsch). Photo is with me visiting my donor son.
I'm 5'11", dark hair, hazel eyes with glasses. My very broad shoulders are my most noticeable physical trait. I have a stocky, linebacker style build.
Updates: A healthy baby boy, my first, born November 2022.
I met and was a known donor (AI) to a great bi/ lesbian couple nearby. I have an uncle type role in his life.
STI testing done 2022, all clear.
I'm ready again to help someone achieve their desire for a baby & create something positive in the world! At a minimum, I want to be a known donor, be available to the child to reach out to when they ask questions, so they know the person who helped create them, wanted them in this world. I'd consider up to a co-parent, but more likely an uncle type role? The more contact the better as far as I'm concerned! I don't want to step on any toes, as I know you'd be carrying the bulk of raising the child with full legal custody. I've realized I want to know the child in some sort of fashion, so they won't wonder who their biological father is, or what I'm like. And the waiting until age 18 model is outdated, as they miss having the knowledge as a child. I don't want them to have that angst growing up. I'm sorry, but I won't do an anonymous or closed donation.
I also want any kids to be able to know each other, and the moms of my son want that, too! I only plan to donate to a few women at most. I value quality time with my kids over quantity.
I'm not far from O'Hare & Midway Airports in Chicago if you are far away. I even have frozen sperm banked if you wanted IVF, IUI, to safely ensure a second child by me, or are far away.
I've been lucky to have been smart since I was a kid. Learning always came easy to me. I tested well academically & I graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from a top ranked school. I even coded for a year for Google X-Labs on an aerospace launch system.
I'm a constant learner of everything - of history, new technologies, skills, and repairing things. I've never smoked, never used drugs, rarely drink. I’m vaccinated for covid & boosted, HPV, Hepatitis A&B. I have a full, clear STI panel from 2017 when I first donated, & Sept 2022.
My ethnic background is German, Irish, & English. Several of my direct male line great grandfathers had multiple children into their late 40's and mid 50's. My parents are healthy in their 80's. I've volunteered for whole DNA sequencing, and nothing concerning was found.
I'm open to helping single women, bisexual/lesbian couples, and heterosexual couples conceive a child. I hope you are a smart, warm, caring woman who wants to take this brave journey! I welcome any questions you may have.
