My wife and I (a lesbian) couple are trying to have a baby in the next few years. We are currently in the process of getting our bodies ready for childbearing.

We are professionals, we have two dogs, a nice home, and love children. It feels unfair that we cannot have a baby between us, and the idea of having a baby in a clinic makes us feel uncomfortable. We will if we have to, but would prefer a more natural setting.
