I am a senior manager in the civil service. I am a happy, positive person blessed with good genes - still have three quarters of my grandparents!

If you ask about my character I live for laughing - I’m always to be light-hearted and I like to think I’m witty and funny.

A physical description of myself is that I am tall 6’, green eyes, background White Scottish, medium hairy. I am university educated (political science) and spent a year in Spain to learn Spanish. Also speak some French and German. I like reading with a particular interest in travel, ‘old classics’ and history. I love maps and can lose myself in them for hours!

I had a pretty perfect childhood in Scotland where I lived with my parents brother and sister. I moved to London after I got a graduate job and I’ve been here ever since. I have a son who is 13 - a smart kid who plays the piano and cello, good natured and happy. Being a parent is amazing - it is what I live for - seeing how characters develop, teaching them and being proud of their achievements more so than you do your own.
