I have been a surrogate twice, carried triplets, and then did a singleton. I am single and have a 12 year old daughter. I asked her if she would want a sibling if it was the doctor way and she said yes.
I live in Oregon, but I am from Montana. I work with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in group homes and individual care. My dream is to open my own adult DD foster home.
I had a friend who always said he wanted to give me a baby. He was a free spirit and he just wanted to spread his love and seed around the world. I always felt he was so silly and hippy, but I loved him and told him it would have to be the doctor way. He was the most beautiful nomad with a home I ever met. He passed away that next year, tragically. I set that side of an eventually second child away. But 2022 has me thinking, maybe.
I can't afford it, but that is a feeling with no evidence. So, ai am putting myself out there to see.
