My wife and I tried to have a baby for many years, gave up for many years, and are now revisiting the idea in new ways.
Most of all we want to have a friendly trusting supportive co-parenting relationship with the new human and its other parents. We also like the idea of helping a lgbtq couple who want to have a baby.
So... what do you need to know?
I'm a 6'3" software engineer and artist, speak Chinese, have 2 masters degrees (MBA & MFA), eat a mostly plant-based diet (there's some heart disease on both sides of my family, so trying to head it off early), am left-leaning politically, like to hike, play music, meditate, practice martial arts, play video games, etc.
I have two doctors in my family; my mom is a retired pediatrician & my sister is an anesthesiologist with an adorable 11mo of her own, who we helped take care of for about 6 weeks last April when covid hit. My dad is a retired pilot. All of my family live in Colorado.
