We are a married same sex couple looking to add a bundle of joy to our family. We both have 1 daughter each that we birth prior to our relationship, but now we want one born into the wonderful union we have now. My goal is to procreate with a donor that can give us the closet resemblance of us both. i.e. Spanish decent, West Indian, mixed raced (Caucasian, African American) just to name a few. My wife is currently deployed in the ocean somewhere and we would like the process to either be done around July 2014 or October 2014. Neither of us wants her to miss much of the pregnancy, so I was ok with being a few months when she got off the ship or we just finding out together when she returns home.

At the same time we don't want any of our children to share the same birth month as well because kids cost and they all have their own "I want list". We are willing to do it the natural way or the artificial way. The goal is a healthy happy pregnancy and child. We would also like to have a donor that will allow us to contact them once the baby start asking questions and they can even be a part of the child's life with the understanding they will not have any legal rights to the child because my wife will be adopting the baby. We are not closed minded people at all and with the legal situation being handled we are still welcoming to the donor being an active father in the child's life if he wanted to. We will even send pictures and make phone calls to keep the donor aware of the baby’s progress.

At the same time if he doesn’t want the calls and pictures we just want him to be available for questions of who he is. This method is new to us and we just want the best, safe, and easy route possible. I can’t forget the most cost efficient. Thank you all for the opportunity to have a complete family.
