I am a 38-year-old caucasian, lesbian looking for a co-parent (preferably a gay man or couple).
I have a Master's degree and a professional license.
I work with kids and have always wanted my own. This has not yet worked out, so I find myself I considering the potential benefits of a platonic co-parenting relationship-- where the best interest of the child is unclouded by romantic, interpersonal complications.
I was raised [primarily] Jewish and this is important to me, though I would not call myself a religious person. I appreciate the cultural connection and the deeper elements of spirituality which run through the heart of judaism. I also believe that exposure to healthy, eclectic spirituality can support an individual to develop their own solid spiritual understanding; so I do not need my co-parent to be jewish, but I do need them to understand it is a piece of what I bring.
I am open to creative scenarios (eg. co-habitation or not, working together to develop a set-up which works for us both and supports the child-- which I imagine would be evolving along with individuals and around the family).
